I will lose followers for saying this

I’m probably going to lose some people by saying this, but I think it needs to be said. I appreciate your feedback. I really do.

However.

Opening the door for feedback often results in being pushed for more. The thing is, if I try to design for everyone, I’m no longer designing for anyone. I’m no longer designing for myself. The minute I start designing things I don’t believe in, this brand loses its soul, heart, and direction.

Unfortunately for some of you, I won’t be designing a long swim short. To be clear, I AM NOT anti coverage. Like a longer skort makes sense for taller girls but I AM anti baggy swim short one hand above the knee.

There is a clear difference.

And if you don’t see the difference, then we have a disconnect, and it’s better for me to be transparent with you now vs you feeling like I’m not living up to your expectations…because that aesthetic was never in my DNA to begin with.

Obvi love and respect for all of you, regardless if our style preferences align or not! Don’t stop giving feedback and ideas. I just don’t like it when people start getting entitled with their requests and demand things in a way that shows a lack of appreciation for the time, the skill, and the care that goes into every single Popflex design.
