Pop-Up Bird House Card

Hi everyone, I’m back with another requested tutorial. I was sent a request to make a Birdhouse card from a lady called Susan. She sent me a picture of one she saw by Di Barns, It’s a really pretty style but I wanted to add a little pop-up to mine.

You can create any scene, it doesn’t have to be a birdhouse. I can see it as a window with a Christmas tree inside or as a Nativity scene.

This card folds down to a 6 x 6 size, and you have lots of space on the back to stamp and write your message.

SUPPLIES USED TO MAKE THIS CARD

Woodware ‘One liners’ stamp set, check for independent online sellers.

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THIS CARD

1 piece of 6′ x 11.3/4 (A4) card for the main card.

Score along the 11.3/4 side at 5.7/8

Mark along the fold at 3′

2 strips of 3/8′ x 2.3/4, 2 strips of 1/8′ x 1/8′, 1 piece of 3/4′ x 3.1/4, and 1 piece of 3/4′ x 3/4′ brown card for the birdhouse.
