Day 1 of the Popflex Team Retreat!
Literally had to take over an hour of footage down to just a few minutes for a day 1 recap of the Popflex Team Retreat because of all the special little details! This is part 1 of a 3-part series…I CANNOT wait to show you the rest.
The Destination: Atlanta, GA
I’ll tell you why in the next part! We stayed outside of the city in this idyllic little farmy town called Serenbe. As we all waited for check-in, we prepped a little welcome suite with refreshments and… a craft table! The idea was to make each person’s house for the next few days feel like home. We made pressed flower fridge magnets and tiny bouquets for the TINIEST vase in the world. It was literally so cute.
Then, we got our keys and took a golf cart to our house and umm there were freshly baked cookies on arrival. YUM.
We wanted everyone to feel special upon arrival, so each house was decorated with personalized details, from name pennants to a yearbook filled with all of the memories from the past year.
Welcome Dinner: Sweet Tea Party
We all dressed up, hopped on our golf carts, and caravaned through the most beautiful scenery to our welcome dinner. Now… you must know that the Popflex team takes our dress code VERY seriously. When we say we’re gonna sweet tea… we’re gonna sweet tea.
The Goal: Pamper and Spoil
When we started planning this retreat a year ago, I wanted to make this an influencer-level gifting event. I wanted to pamper and spoil this team, okay?!
So at the welcome dinner, everyone got to fill their Georgia peach-themed tote bags with goodies like peach Pilates grip socks, new stationery coming to Popflex soon , wellness gummies, healthy candies, beauty, skincare, nippy covers, makeup brushes and bags, and the nails that I use all the time. Everyone was also gifted a cozy Cloud set that they could get cute lemons, flowers, and bows added to with chainstitch embroidery.
And that’s not even all.
There was also a surprise sticker machine, a patch station with mini irons to decorate your tote bag, a make-your-own perfume station, and an aura reading station.
Yeah… I’m terrified of people being bored at a party sooo there always has to be something going on.
And omg I haven’t even talked about the decor and tablescapes!! Seee, this is why I had to make this a 3-part series. We had personalized fans and… branded lemons!
Parts 2 and 3 Coming Up!
The thoughtfulness that went into this event was simply unmatched. And that was only Day 1!
I mentioned spoiling the Popflex team with gifting, but really the goal was to pamper and spoil them with a week full of unique experiences – things normally a brand would only do for an influencer trip. I don’t have all the money in the world to do that but I do choose to spend my money on the people I’m on this special journey with. The people making this company and this brand exactly what it is today.
Big thank you to the mastermind and most amazing retreat planner Jackelyn (who also happens to be my little sister), who basically said “trust me” and blew past my already unrealistically high expectations.
